The Lincoln Square apartments – surrounding the historic Philadelphia, Wilmington, and Baltimore Railway Company Train Shed – renew the neighborhood with a load bearing wall and plank L-shaped building. This 300,000 SF project featured 8” load bearing walls supporting concrete plank. We integrated support posts for corridor lintel angles with our panels to reduce field labor. Panels around staircases included coordinated steel bearing points to transfer staircase loads to the transfer slab. The owner ultimately benefitted from tight coordination among the construction manager and other trades, in addition to Klover’s use of BIM (Revit).
