Motivated by limited site space due to adjacent site construction and Klover’s fast multi-story panel erection, The Residences at Mid-town Park Building 2 nine-story tower was erected with minimal impact on surrounding properties and streets. This was a welcomed benefit for an urban areas like Wilmington. The distinctive angled elevation featured a prefabricated 2-piece cantilevered balcony. To reduce field installation labor, deflection track was pre-installed on nonbearing exterior and corridor walls during panel fabrication to account for concrete plank camber. This 98,300 SF project contained 618 panels, including prefabricated parapet panels.
